- My new camera finally came. I'm a bit overwhelmed with it, and trying to figure out the ins and outs of it -- in due time you shall hopefully have some photos to see from it.
- This is the last week before Spring Break. While every other week seems to fly by -- this one is moving at the pace of a herd of turtles. My mantra has been, "2 days left... 2 days left..."
- Friday's going to be a big day: I get my hair done, and my sister comes to Phoenix! She'll be here for the weekend, and then we'll head off to Cleveland. On the agenda: shopping, and the annual Aloha Festival in Phoenix (we have a surprisingly large Polynesian population..)
- I've been working on a few creative projects of which I can only vaguely discuss at this point. I've done a few sets of note cards for some people, and a painting project for someone in my family who may or may not be having a baby shower soon. (I don't think she reads this on any regular basis, but I don't want to risk the spoiling). I'll post pictures of the completed project after it's been received.
- The baby shower is a week from Saturday! Super exciting! I have a few creative things that I need to finish up in the next week. One is the place cards which shouldn't take long. Second is the thank-you notes for my sister. Third is the cupcakes. The jury's still out on the cupcake situation -- Costco or Sam's Club -- and we're going to get them "naked" and the frosting on the side so I can dye it and apply it to my liking.
