the summer of oh-ten

At some point during this summer I realized that I wasn't really giving this ol' blog of mine much attention. And then I rationalized that my life really wasn't that exciting. Each day started with sweet little nephews, and ended with sweet little nephews. Rinse. Repeat.

And it was heaven.

So I thought I'd do a wrap-up of the summer. But then I realized I didn't really do anything.

So I thought I'd list some life-lessons I learned this summer. And then I realized that there was really only one.

I love my family.

I am so incredibly blessed to have these amazing people in my life. A sister who is my best friend. Who is so incredibly generous to me. And these sweet little boys of hers. Ugh. How do I even describe how wonderful they are?

Everyone we meet tells my sister how lucky she is to have me -- how they all wish they had sisters who could take entire summers to help them.

But in the end, it's me that's the lucky one. Because I have this wonderful family.

It's the night before I go back to school, and I'm that little kid that doesn't want to get on the bus. Don't make me, please.

Christmas break will be here before you know it!

I've got a halloween costume to get started on. Let me know when you feel like having a crafting day.
