I talked to Katie yesterday at about 5pm their time. She had been having contractions, 5 min apart for the past hour or so and was waiting for a call back from the doctor. She went to the hospital to get checked out, was told that she was in "early labor" -- she was 2cm dilated and his head was in a good position. They had the option of laboring at the hospital or laboring at home and they chose to go home. After only being at the house for an hour, they went back to the hospital. At 6am or so she was 5cm and was given the epidural.

Other than that I don't know much -- Ryan and my dad called me at work to tell me the great news! I'll call and hopefully talk to my sister this evening.
